Cradle of Filth - Samhain Rehearsal (Full Rehearsal Audio 1992)

Here's a full rehearsal audio of Cradle of Filth which was recorded in 1992 at Springvale Studios. The reason why its referred to as Samhain Rehearsal is because the rehearsal was recorded on November 1st, 1992 which is the official date of the pagan religious festival of the same name. Springvale Studios is also where Cradle of Filth recorded Goetia, which was meant to be released as their debut album. Unfortunately, the master tapes of the album was wiped out when Tombstone Records, the label that was intended to release Goetia went out of businesses. However, Spattered in Faeces is the only song that survived from those sessions. The interlude tracks, Hekate Enthroned & Seance and Mandrake are only available in the vinyl release of Total Fucking Darkness compilation (2014). Speaking of Hekate Enthroned, I am sure Hecate Enthroned (a symphonic/melodic black metal band from UK which had ex-Cradle of Filth bassist, Jon Kennedy on vocals) named themselves after the interlude track of the same name. 1.
