Fairport Convention : The Guinea Pig In The Microwave (live 1986)

Live at the Canberra Workers Club, Australia on March 12 1986 and released on the "official bootleg" cassette 'Here Live Tonight', put out by the Australian Friends Of Fairport later that year. The tunes are The Cat On The Mixer (Maartin Allcock) and The Gas Almost Works (John Kirkpatrick) - "Guinea Pig In The Microwave" was an early name for the medley, and was soon discarded. The tunes were recorded on the 'Expletive Delighted' album the same year - The Gas Almost Works as a separate track, and Cat On The Mixer combined with another Allcock tune Three Left Feet. Line-up: Simon Nicol, Dave Pegg, Ric Sanders, Maartin Allcock, Dave Mattacks. Please don't put guinea pigs in microwaves.
