An interview with Rush I recorded in 1974 with my friend, Don Moore, asking the questions & yours truly, the "sound guy" recording, backstage at a nightclub called Travis Street Electric Co., in Dallas, TX. This was right after Rush's first self-titled album came out and Neil Peart had been in the band for only 3 months. You can hear Don say that he didn't recognize him (Neil) from the album cover. Yes, we were college kids and most of the questions are admittedly not hard-hitting, but in retrospect to how huge they became, the answers and comments now take on a different perspective. I recently did a restoration and clean-up of the digitized, original cassette audio and made this "video" to let more people hear it. At least more than the original handful that heard it back in '74. I also uploaded a copy of the local (KZEW-FM; Dallas, TX) radio promo for this show.
