Vote in our latest poll: https://www.youtube.com/post/Ugkx1u0JUNaEt49q00xKzKnFW7Mdp_6ZYxUw In this episode of P³, we react to Who Knows Where the Time Goes? by Fairport Convention—a beautifully reflective folk song that captures the strange mix of peace, nostalgia, and sadness that comes with watching life move forward. As two musicians, we explore: Why the melody feels emotionally inevitable and deeply comforting The subtle harmonic movement beneath the folk simplicity Sandy Denny’s vocal delivery and emotional restraint How the lyrics approach time passing without bitterness or panic Why quiet performances can sometimes feel more powerful than dramatic ones This is both a reaction and a deeper listening session—focused on folk songwriting, emotional subtlety, lyrical reflection, and how simplicity can create timeless emotional impact. Let us know in the comments: Do you hear this song as comforting, sad, or somehow both at once? Thanks for watching and supporting P³!
