The concert took place on April 30, 1985 at the Lone Star Cafe in New York and was attended by Jaco, Jimmy, guitarist Kenny Gwyn, keyboardist Scott Brown, percussionist Jerry Gonzales, as well as drummer Chris Slade, who at the time was a member of the supergroup The Firm along with Page, Paul Rodgers, and bassist Tony Franklin. Page stated, "Jaco invited me up and I had a jam with him. After about four numbers, I came back to our table." improved sound.
