He was the first string player to win a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music, he has been nominated for a Grammy award, has played at Carnegie Hall, appeared on over 50 recordings, and played in 13 countries, scored multiple films, and licensed his music for film and TV. Rushad is also an accomplished teacher, composer, and songwriter. He is also a guitarist, cartoonist, writer and inventor of mythical worlds and languages. Eggleston has toured extensively with Darol Anger’s Republic of Strings, Fiddler’s 4, (with Michael Doucet from BEAUSOLEIL) and the alternative folk/bluegrass group he helped found, Crooked Still.
