Andrew Fletcher - Five Miniatures for Organ
*Note in 2025: in retrospect I feel that some pieces need more Rubato and another use of the Swell-pedal. The Reflection could be better played at a slower tempo. 1. Chorale Prelude on St. James. 'Bachian'-prelude with a pizzicato bass line. 0:01 2. Cantilena - 3 part movement, in the second part a modulation to B-major with the melody played with a 4ft pedal stop. 2:10 3. Integritas - Nice 3 part movement with in the second part the melody in tenor. 6:17 4. Romanza. Four part movement with in the second part a canon. 10:44 5. Reflection - A piece with a lot of dynamics. Nice opportunity to show the resources of the organ. 16:00 Andrew Fletcher (*1950-). Five Miniatures for Organ. Edition Peters.
