Dave Loggins - "Augusta" (Live! at the CEO Songwriter Showcase 2010)
Dave Loggins performed his song "Augusta" in Nashville, TN in March of 2010. He wrote this song back in 1982 when he was asked to write the theme song for the Masters Golf Tournament. It's still in use today, but what you hear during the broadcast is just the instrumental version. This is one of the only Live performances you will ever see of this song by the writer himself! Dave Loggins, Scotty Emerick, Alan Shamblin, and Richie McDonald gave an unforgettable performance at the CEO Songwriter Showcase that night. David Allen Loggins was an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He is best known for his 1974 hit single "Please Come to Boston" as well as his 1984 duet with Anne Murray, "Nobody Loves Me Like You Do".
