IN SESSION with Sir Mack Rice - Shoe Studios 1993
This video, recorded in 1993, features Stax organist Ronnie Williams in session with none other than the legendary songwriter and performer, Sir Mack Rice, (Mustang Sally, Respect Yourself, Cheaper To Keep Her, Cadillac Assembly Line, etc). Between takes in the studio, he plays a bit of that funky stuff on the Hammond B3 in the unmistakable Ronnie Williams style. A Stax documentary, also being videotaped in the studio that day, kept the recording industry related conversation flowing with cameo appearances by Memphis Music notables such as Steve Potts, Carl 'Blue' Wise, Larry Nix and others.
