Malambo K531 (Scarlatti/Falú) - Aleksi Stromberg Karlsson (Festival de Guitarra Clasica Monaco 1973)

Malambo k 531 Audio encontrado en el archivo del guitarrista y musicólogo Alemán Alois Theisen, esta grabación fue registrada en el Concurso Internacional de Guitarra Clásica organizado en Mónaco en el año 1973. y podemos escuchar la última interpretación del guitarrista sueco Aleksi Stromberg Karlsson que en ese momento contaba con 26 años. El panorama del festival fue muy polémico en torno a la siguiente situación. Karlsson había llegado a la semifinal contra el guitarrista Español Felipe Rafael Alonso, quien interpreto magistralmente algunas piezas de música folclórica argentina. El maestro de Aleksi lo incito a interpretar el Malambo de la Suite Argentina de Eduardo Falú (la obra había salido un año antes en un disco con la camerata Bariloche y fue muy bien recibida), pero el joven pensaba que si tocaba Scarlatti ganaría mayor atención. Aleksi y su maestro tuvieron una larga y fuerte discusión antes del concierto final que derivó en un incidente a golpes. El muchacho fue llamado a tocar y para ganar aún más atención toco las dos obras en una sola, el Malambo de Eduardo Falú junto con la Sonata K 531 de Doménico Scarlatti. Finalmente el Sueco gano el festival pero a la salida del mismo fue arrollado por un tranvía luego de que su estuche mal cerrado dejara caer su guitarra en medio de la calle y al no prestar atención fue embestido y falleció en el acto. Algunos creen que Alonso en venganza de haber perdido el festival fue a dejarle mal abierto el estuche aunque 36 años después el negó esta acusación. Queda para siempre esta magistral interpretacion de Aleksi quien supo combinar de manera espontanea la musica folclorica argentina con la tradicion barroca mas pura.
