Ringo Starr replaced Pete Best as The Beatles drummer and when they recorded thier first single Love Me Do, Ringo didn't get to play drums on that one and instead was handed a tamborine.This video explains a little of how the replacement came about but if you are a true Beatles fan then no futher explanation is required. If The Beatles are new to you then you really must look futher into the history of THE most famous band in the world, then and now. In my opinion they will never be replaced. The world was desperate for a reunion but that was never destined to be, John was murdered in 1980 outside his apartment in New York, he was only 40 years old and George died from cancer in 2001.
