I do not own the copyright to this recording. This video is for historical and educational purposes There are no existing photos of Judson Brown. He only made one solo recording, and had to share the b-side of his one and only 78RPM record with Freddie "Redd" Nicholson performing his "Tee Roller's Rub". Brown did appear on some recordings by Mary Johnson for Brunswick the same year, teamed with guitarist Tampa Red. About Tampa Red
Hudson Whittaker, better known by his stage name Tampa Red, was an American Chicago blues musician. His distinctive single-string slide guitar style, songwriting and bottleneck technique influenced other Chicago blues guitarists such as Big Bill Broonzy, Robert Nighthawk, Muddy Waters, and Elmore James.
