Recorded in Jacksonville in 1969 but left unreleased for over 50 years, this legendary lost album captures the moment when the Florida psychedelic scene was evolving into what would later become Southern rock. Members of The Load and the original Second Coming shared stages, rehearsals and jam sessions with Duane Allman, Dickey Betts, Berry Oakley and Jaimoe during the late 60s Florida underground explosion. Featuring Reese Wynans (later with Stevie Ray Vaughan and Joe Bonamassa), Larry Reinhardt (later founder of Captain Beyond), Monty Young, John Meeks and Richard Price, the group blended psychedelic improvisation, hard rock energy, blues and extended jams into a uniquely powerful sound. The album was recorded at Sound Laboratory Studios in Jacksonville in April 1969, but after a failed trip to New York searching for a record deal, the master tapes remained forgotten in storage for decades. Rediscovered years later by bassist Richard Price, the original master tapes were finally rescued and restored, allowing this long-lost piece of American underground rock history to surface for the first time. Officially reissued by Guerssen Records.
