“Elvira” was NOT supposed to be THE hit.. but… #shorts
NO ONE saw “Elvira” coming.. and then… #shorts "Elvira" was not a big hit three previous times it had been released -- including by the song's composer, the late Dallas Frazier. That's why no one initially saw it becoming a hit when the Oak Ridge Boys recorded it in 1980 for their 1981 "Fancy Free" album. But Joe Bonsall of the Oaks says that's when everything changed....even before they released the song as a single. See the Oak Ridge Boys live on tour right now, including at The Palladium in Carmel, Indiana on March 17. Find me on Facebook: facebook.com/RaySteeleWRTV
