Steve Wood/Brad Felt Quintet - "Roll Call" - 1989
In 1989, Brad Felt (tuba) and longtime musical partner Steve Wood (tenor sax) formed a quintet of Detroit All-Stars to participate in the Hennessy Cognac Jazz Search. Other members were Gary Haverkate (piano), Kurt Krahnke (bass) and Tom Brown (drums). The quintet wound up as a competition finalist in Los Angeles. Here they play Hank Mobley's "Roll Call". In terms of quality: Video=Poor. Sound=Fair. Music=OUTSTANDING.
