A Song For The Grad Class of 2020...

An original song for the grad class of 2020... Today would of been my high school graduation. Like so many others this year, I counted on having that special day to throw our caps in the air and say “we did it!”. All of us were looking forward to celebrating with our family and friends and reflecting back on all of the good and the bad we have experienced over these past 12 years. COVID-19 took away graduation for almost everyone this year. It was a lot to process for many of us as we realized that it wasn’t just the day of grad we were missing, but also the chance to never say goodbye to some of our classmates, teachers or friends. To the class of 2020, Our ending is bittersweet. This wasn’t the way any of us envisioned our graduation. However, the one thing in the world that no virus or person or anything can ever take away is the memories and moments we had together. We have to hold on the “Memories We Made”.
