Simple Minds - Acoustic EP - Live in Dublin 2017 - Audio Only

Please Note: This is NOT an official band release. Simple Minds in top form in Dublin in the Summer of 2017. A nice memory of a wonderful gig, fantastic venue & one hell of a crowd - each & every one of them full of energy like the band. The night goes from the extremes of being able to hear a pin drop to deafening audience participation. It was at the end of the tour but the band were so very tight musically & in their energy. I'm always in awe of these artists & musicians, how they raise the bar continually & put out such fantastic shows for their fans. The core of Jim & Charlie, always surround themselves with so many interesting & talented professionals. Joining the Minds tonight for the main set were Ged Grimes on Bass, Sarah Brown on Backing Vocals (leading vocals for Let the Day Begin), Cherisse Osei on Drums & Percussion & last but not least Multi Instrumentalist Gordon Gourdie primary on guitar/backing vocals but taking a lead for the track Andy Warhol. Support was provided by the fabulously energetic KT Tunstall, who later joined the main band again towards the end of their set. Music fans got a great deal of value, enjoyment & some belly laughs too from Jim (who could equally have a career as a stand up comedian if he ever fancied it!!). Jim don't worry - what is said in Dublin - Stays in Dublin & doesn't end up on 'tinternet :-)). Anyone who was there knows what I'm referring to. Hope all Minds fans & general music fans enjoy this one. It was a great night & this recording always brings a smile to my face as I listen back & relive the show.
