2016 Digital Copy by Garland Films from an original in the Essex Record Office Film 2 Handsworth Traditional Sword-dance Film (a) was made by Ivor Allsop on Boxing Day, 26 December, 1979 at Handsworth Parish Church Film (b) was made by Alan Brown on 1 May 1976 at Woodhouse Cross This film is not in perfect synchronisation throughout as it gives the impression that the dance is performed with the left foot on the beat instead of the right foot.
