The Spaniels "Crazee Babee" Live - 1997

The Spaniels (James "Pookie" Hudson, Gerald Gregory, Willie C, Jackson, Opal Courtney, Jr., Billy Shelton and guitarist) Wilton Crump perform the group's 1957 recording, "Crazee Babee", for a P.O.R.C.C. audience in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on March 2, 1997. The Spaniels performed the song on American Bandstand in December of 1957. Hudson reported that in a 1990s search for a kinescope, he was told by DCP that the film was lost. On the original November, 1957 recording, tenor Carl Rainge was sick and replaced by Verne Allison of the Dells.
