Jo-EL Sonnier sings, “The Backdoor”
Well my friends, the day has finally come for me to sing my last quarantine song. It’s day 53 and we are in Texas and it’s about to storm but we are gonna try to get this song recorded before the bottom falls out. The wind is blowin’ really hard so I’m hopin’ we don’t see a cow blow across the yard haha. I have really enjoyed playin’ a song everyday for you guys and I’m touched that so many of you have told us how much you have enjoyed listenin’. It was the only thing’ I could do to try and bring a little joy to everyone durin’ this tryin’ time. Please stay safe out there and don’t rush to get back into your normal life too fast. I’m not sure the worst is behind us yet but I pray that it is. We are gonna stay away from large crowds for another month or so until we see that it’s really safe to do so and it’s not gonna be hard to do since all my performances have been canceled until at least the middle of July. Take care and remember to love one another.
