I’m back! Had to take a few days off to help Bobbye with some pressure washin’ around the house. It’s day 36 of the quarantine, I had to go see my doctor today for my wellness checkup and he said he couldn’t find anythin’ wrong with me. Thank God! Not bad for an old Cajun boy of 73. I love my doctor and he loves traditional French Cajun music so we get along great! Anyway, God decided we had worked enough outside so he brought the rain and I get the afternoon off. Today’s song is an instrumental that was made famous by the legend, Aldus Roger and The Lafayette Playboys. It is about a club in Opelousas where they also had horse races. I went there when I was a kid but I don’t think I ever played there. The song is called The Hicks Wagon Wheel Special.
