Lee said the following: Honestly, it was at a time I was sort of like frustrated creatively and in a place where I seriously felt misunderstood by the record label and everybody. When we wrote “Sick”, it was like an experiment that we didn’t know if it would work or not. And I remember we were all just really excited at the end of it because we love that song.
