Brand New Time - Rock Bottom

This 8mm home movie film clip is of my band "Rock Bottom", recorded in 1971. We played in Mountain Home, Arkansas for the Grand Opening of the Wal Mart store in 1968. Members include: Jimmy Atchison on guitar, Ronnie Thomas of Hammond, Harley Vinsant on bass and I played drums. Friend of the band, Louis Stutz, often grabbed a pair of tambourines or a cowbell and joined in. The audio track is the song "Brand New Time", which was written and sung by Jimmy. We recorded it at Ben Jack's Studio about a year after this film was made. We added second guitarist Steve Hawkins, but no video record of his involvement exists. He is playing the harmony guitar leads on the track.
