About This Footage

This 3:43 clip of Parabelle performing "Just Wrong" is a rare gem that offers a glimpse into the Canadian rock band's later years. Released in 2016, this footage is part of their album "The Kill Plan", which marked a significant milestone for the band.

What makes this clip notable is its high-definition quality, presented in 1080p. This level of production value was likely achieved through careful planning and execution by Parabelle's team. The crisp visuals and clear sound are a testament to the band's commitment to delivering a polished performance.

The fact that this footage has been uploaded to YouTube as part of the "Rare" collection suggests that it may not have received widespread attention at the time of its release. This could be due to various factors, such as limited promotion or a crowded market. Regardless of the reasons behind its relative obscurity, this clip provides an opportunity for fans and music enthusiasts to experience Parabelle's work in a new light.

The artist's bio reveals that Parabelle has undergone numerous line-up changes since its inception in 2007. This level of instability can often impact a band's creative output and overall trajectory. However, it also presents opportunities for growth and experimentation, as the band members adapt to new dynamics and styles.

Parabelle's formation is closely tied to the departure of Kevin Matisyn from Evans Blue in 2008. This event marked a turning point for both bands, with Matisyn pursuing his side project and eventually transforming it into a full-fledged band. The connection between these two groups highlights the complex web of relationships within the music industry.

The clip's placement as track 10 on "The Kill Plan" album is also worth noting. This position suggests that "Just Wrong" was likely one of the later tracks on the release, possibly even serving as a closing statement or final flourish. The song's tone and style may have been intended to leave a lasting impression on listeners.

In terms of Parabelle's overall output, their 2009 double album "A Summit Borderline/A Drop Oceanic" marked an early milestone in their discography. This release demonstrated the band's potential for creating complex, layered soundscapes. However, it is unclear whether this clip represents a departure from or continuation of this earlier work.

Ultimately, this rare footage offers a unique perspective on Parabelle's 2016 output and their evolution as a band. Fans of Canadian rock music may find this clip particularly interesting, given the band's connections to other notable groups in the genre.
