BE THOU MY VISION

I’m going to be including some of my favorite hymns in my posts. I’ve loved “Be Thou My Vision” for many years. It’s one of the oldest; the melody dates back to the 5th century. The words are usually attributed to an Irish poet from the 6th century, Dallan Forgaill, who was blind. That gives the hymn another level of meaning.
