A HUGE Thank you kindly for autographing all three of our album covers Mr. Chuck " Wagon " Maultsby... as well as one of the Wheels... Bass player Mr. Scott Bish!! This is a great addition to our wonderful record collection! Our daughter will have such a great musical archive!!! We were fortunate enough to have Chuck "Wagon" Maultsby himself make a comment about a song we had posted asking them if he and Scott Bish, Bass player and Wheel for the Wagon,if could they autograph their albums for us!!! Below is the edited conversation..... Just before we left to Niagara Falls, New York. We noticed this comment on the video we posted of... The Gas Song "Let's Drop The Neutron" Chuck Wagon commented 10 months ago... The very idea of dropping any kind of bombs on anyone anywhere was such a ridiculous idea when this song was released that we were certain that absolutely no one would take it seriously... after all, it was 1979, the Viet Nam debacle was recently over and it was a given that the USA had learned a valuable lesson in futility and would never again be stupid enough to be tricked into any more wars... We were making fun of the "Gas Shortage" crisis du jour.... It was a joke. Just goes to show You how wrong You can be about anything and many things.... Then we commented: Mark n Victoria Macham 3 weeks ago... Hey chuck wagon, Your last statement is so correct!!!Thanks for stopping by, checking it out and commenting... Hey, Wouldn't it be cool if I sent you the album jacket and you, all who were available, signed it and I surprised my hubby for our 30th wedding anniversary!!!??? Could you?? chuck wagon 3 weeks ago Sure... email me to organize it: (email address deleted) Mark n Victoria Macham 3 weeks ago sent message We communicated by email after that. But when we sent the album covers, we didn't realize how soon it was before we would be leaving for the falls and so we emailed Mr. Maultsby back to ask him to hold them until we got back but....too late! He had sent them! Excited and worried that the mail person would leave them outside, we asked our band mate and good friend Theresa (see theverymysterious.com ) if she would check for it and she of course was kind enough to make sure that when we returned home, we would find the package safe and sound! Thanks T! As a musician I am always on the look out for something new (to me) and interesting musically. One of the ways I do that is by asking other people, especially musicians, what it is that they really like to listen to that is not mainstream or top 40 and I get all sorts of great suggestions. This particular band was suggested by my cousin Steve Schlecht. We used to jam together as kids and we spent many hours listening to records. I like to find the most obscure / rare music. This is one of those records. After moving away and the years past... I found myself spending hours in a dusty/musty dark room (upstairs of the record store in Duluth, Minnesota, before & during the time I worked there) going through thousands of records trying to guess which one is worth the effort... you have to, there was literally thousands waiting to be discarded. I just can't process the thought of what didn't get saved! Disclaimer; We do not own the copyrights to any of these recordings. These recordings are for Historical and Educational purposes Only!!! Yeah!!!.. So, you better just watch it!!!! l.o.l.
