Envy On The Coast - Laugh Ourselves to Death - Drum Cover
For cover #2, it's this one. This is a pretty interesting song, you kinda have to hold back so you don't overplay. This band has a neat sound, I plan on covering another of their songs in the future. Quick note about this one, during the AI separation, a backing track of what I think was a shaker that was keeping time throughout the whole song was cut. To replace, I used my VST to combine a hihat and a shaker (sounded most similar to original) sound over the whole track, and just layered it over. (I assume this is how the track was recorded; it's also possible the drummer was keeping time on the hihat the entire time, but, when approached from that play style, the song became exponentially more difficult and obnoxious to play) Original audio separated using Deezer music separation AI and original drum track replaced with my own that was recorded in SD3. All drum covers are filmed using same 'take' as drum sounds used in video. If audio doesn't always line up exactly, blame my video editing skills.
