An ARC Stockton Cultural Shift production in association with Little Cog. Never-Neverland by Pauline Heath with Vici Wreford-Sinnott. Premieres ARC Stockton 28 June 7pm. Pay What You Decide It is just after the election in Never-Never Land and the peasants grow restless whilst the leaders drink champagne on expenses...sound like ground hog day? It is. Pauline Heath has created a rich fairytale, a complete fantasy of horrors which are too far-fetched to believe, delivered as stand-up theatre. 21st Century storytelling, using projections and original illustrations, some of Grimm’s favourites appear in this cautionary tale of modern life if you’re poor. About Pauline Heath Pauline trained in acting with Graeae Theatre Company and toured in their much acclaimed production of Mother Courage. She also did a Performing Arts Degree at Newcastle College. Writing credits include Occupation which was staged at ARC in 2015 as a rehearsed reading. Performance credits include Feckless with Get Off Our Backs Theatre Company, Hangin’ Around For A Man With A Pulse with ARCADEA and Theatre Workshop Edinburgh’s inclusive production of Marat Sade which toured Scotland. Other performance work includes large scale outdoor work – the Paralympic Opening Ceremony directed by Jenny Sealey, which was an amazing experience, and recently performed in the Great North Run Million Opening Ceremony directed by Bradley Hemmings. Pauline’s poetry has been published in two anthologies of poetry by Disabled writers, Sub Rosa and Transgression.
