The Outlaws - There Goes Another Love Song

R.E.M.

"There Goes Another Love Song" is the first song from the first studio album by American southern rock band " The Outlaws". The Outlaws were formed in Tampa, Florida by guitarist--vocalist Hughie Thomasson, drummer David Dix, bassist Phil Holmberg, guitarists Hobie O'Brien and Frank Guidry, plus singer Herb Pino. Guidry brought the name Outlaws with him when he joined (he had been in another group that had that name). Lyrics : Sometimes I feel I am getting kind of low Thoughts I am thinking are the reason So, I try to remember without talking to myself Things that I said or maybe things that I felt about you Sitting in the corner of a crowded barroom People all around me and I still feel alone Just when I know I'm going to break down and cry Someone plays a tune that dries the tear from my eye There goes another love song Someone's singing about me again There goes another lover song Now I need more than a friend Lonesome and lonely and far from my home Trying to get back to where I know I belong Wishing and a-hoping I was already there I just heard a voice whispered in my ear

In the early 1990s, other alternative rock acts suc...
