Irving Kaufman in 1974 "Down Virginia Way" LP
One of Irving Kaufman's last commercial recordings made, accompanied by his wife Belle Brooks (1904-1993). Made by Paul E. Nehrich in Kaufman's home, 49-305 Highway 74 (Space 172) in Palm Desert, California, between August 20th & 22nd, 1974. The song was co-written by Kaufman with Arthur Fields in 1919, and recorded by Tiny Tim for his second album in 1968. This version was issued in mid-1975, only months before Kaufman's death on January 3, 1976.
