Awesome Young Rock Band - Jet's Are You Gonna Be My Girl
Earlier we've shown you some of the stuff my 10-year old son did on Rock Band. Some of you asked to see him playing the real drums. He's just had his first concert, at Crash Mansion in New York City, and the video links are below. My son, now 11 years old, is the drummer. The guitarist (age 12), keyboards/vocalist (age 13), bassist (age 11, playing for three months) and keyboards (age 10) are awesome, too (at least I think so, although I recognize I'm the drummer's Dad!). It's the very first time they've been on a stage of any kind. I like the Aerosmith version of Come Together best overall, but Walking on the Moon showcases what I think are his subtleties, and the Jet song ain't half-bad either. Jet are an Australian rock band, formed in 2001 in Melbourne, Victoria. Founded by brothers Nic and Chris Cester together with Cameron Muncey, they were joined the following year by Mark Wilson on bass guitar.
