Everyone can then post themselves singing, playing, interpreting whatever song they like that they feel fits that theme. You can post as often as you like in that time period. Lisa King: Rock and Roller from Atlanta, Ga. Her band, The Hot Place, just finished recording its debut album, "The Language of Birds" at Southern Tracks Recording in Atlanta. The album was produced by Jeff Calder of the Swimming Pool Q's, (http://www.swimmingpoolqs.com/) and Jeff is also a member of the band, playing guitar and contributing backing vocals. Robert Schmid, also of the Q's, plays drums and Mike Lynn, formerly of Betty's Not A Vitamin plays guitar as well. Lisa sings and plays bass. Since the 80's, Lisa has played in Atlanta bands Grave Shift, Threshold, Unminded, and played keyboards with Glenn Phillips of the Hampton Grease Band. She also plays keys and percussion with The Swimming Pool Q's. The Smiths were an English rock band formed in Manchester in 1982, composed of Morrissey (vocals), Johnny Marr (guitar), Andy Rourke (bass) and Mike Joyce (drums). Morrissey and Marr formed the band's songwriting partnership. The Smiths are regarded as one of the most important British bands and one of the pioneers of 1980s independent music.
