Shaun Foist (drummer for Breaking Benjamin) - 'Natural Life' (unedited)

Back in 2013... before the sold out tours... before the Number One records... even before the product endorsements and WAY before the Alice Cooper / Marilyn Manson 'Masters of Madness' nationwide tour was a reality --- Shaun and I were in San Mateo, CA shooting 'a little audition video' to send in to a 'certain iconic band' looking for a new drummer... So while the ‘audition footage’ was being shot IN the studio with a stationary video camera and a background track of ‘Natural Life’ in his headphones, I thought it would be cool to shoot another perspective of Shaun from behind the glass in the control booth ‘just for fun.' You'll only hear drums... no music - but it's still pretty cool! I ‘had’ uploaded a prior version (since deleted) – with an edit to remove the ‘first part,’ but Shaun thought it would be fun to show that ‘unscripted moment’ that I edited out… and he was right! This is a fun insight into a pro drummer, who’s just like you and me when those moments of frustration happen – and shows what the pros do when they recoup, regroup – and nail it! ENJOY!!!
