INCUBUS CALLS THE POLICE
Rumors are flying around that Stuart Copeland and Andy Summers, the former drummer and guitarist from the seminal '80s band The Police, will guest on the new Incubus album. The rumors are based from the collaboration they did at the KROQ Acoustic Christmas radio festival in Los Angeles late last year. We recently caught up with Incubus's Brandon Boyd and new bassist Ben Kenney talked about the acoustic Christmas perfromance with two-thirds of The Police.
About The Police
The Police were an English rock band formed in London in 1977. Their core line-up comprised Sting (lead vocals, bass, primary songwriter), Andy Summers (guitar) and Stewart Copeland (drums, percussion). The Police became globally popular from the late 1970s to the mid-1980s. Emerging in the British new wave scene, they played a style of rock influenced by punk, reggae, and jazz.
