Global Mambo livestream from the Owl N Thistle Irish Pub
Tor Dietrichson brings his new band Global Mambo Machine to Owl ‘n’ Thistle this Friday, January 20th at 9pm!! The band is a combination of three of his bands. They are Global Village, Mambo Cadillac and Tor Dietrichson Blues Machine. It is a mixture of World Fusion Jazz, Latin Jazz /Salsa, Rock and Blues. Featured artists are pianist Julio Jauregui, guitarist Danny Godinez, bassist Dean Schmidt, drummer Sam Esecson, trombonist Nathan Vetter and flutist Jim O’Halloran. There is No Cover Charge and we urge you to come see what all the ruckus is about!!
About The Band
The Band were a Canadian-American rock band formed in Toronto, Ontario. It consisted of Canadians Rick Danko, Garth Hudson, Richard Manuel and Robbie Robertson and American Levon Helm. The Band's music combined elements of Americana, folk, rock, R&B, jazz and country, which influenced artists including George Harrison, Elton John, the Grateful Dead, Eric Clapton and Wilco.
