The Macallan Golden Age of Travel: Behind The Scenes with Jack Hughes
The Macallan goes behind the scenes with illustrator Jack Hughes to discover how he brought the Golden Age of Travel to life for whisky fans everywhere. The Macallan Golden Age of Travel series re-lives the glamour of this 1930s period celebrating the first era of international travel. The first release features a very rare Macallan, distilled in 1937, and housed in one of 48 specially created Lalique decanters adorned with an iconic ocean liner. To celebrate this timeless age, we have partnered with London-based digital illustrator Jack Hughes, to create a series of postcards which capture the glamour and adventure of the era. Take a step back in time and pen a personal message to share with your friends. Why not remind them of past adventures or inspire them to plan a jet-set 2016.
