BBC Micro Hybrid Technology Music 2000 Programming music and playing on a Midi Synth Demo.
For years I have known you could do music on the BBC micro. Vince Clarke of Erasure did a demo using a BBC master on Rockschool in 1987. I never knew what the kit was at the time or knew anyone that did. As time goes on I learned of the Hybrid Technology Music 5000 system for the BBC. However its now very rare and expensive. Recently a chap from norway on Ebay is selling Music 2000 boards that in essence are the midi part of the music 5000 system. I bought one a while ago, and I have finally got it running. There is a LOT to learn with this, but my idea is that I want to eventually make new music using old tech.
