The G-Clefs "The Note" Live - 1999
On September 26, 1999, the original G-Clefs (Ray Gipson, Teddy Scott, Ilanga, Tim "Payme" Scott, Christian Scott) and their band made a rare trip outside New England to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where they performed for the P.O.R.C.C. audience. "The Note", written by Payme Scott with a lead vocal from Ray Gipson and recitation from Teddy Scott, was the group's first new studio recording to be released in 33 years. It was issued on "The G-Clefs Then & Now" CD in April of 1999.
