Chapter 6 [Jordan's POV] "Hold on Roxy. Who's Scooter whatever-his-name-is?" I questioned, groggily. I wished that I was back in my room, tucked into the warm silk covers of my bed. My hand gradually made its way to my right eye and I rubbed it sleepily. "Scooter Braun? Scooter is a manager." "Woah, Roxy, never heard of one of those before..." I mocked. She gave me the evil eye. "Okay, sorry. But why is Scooter...uh-" "Braun." "Yeah, Braun, why is he so important?" "Because," Roxy began, "Scooter Braun is Justin Bieber's manager. Justin Bieber is going to be opposite you in a new song." My eyes shot open and I could feel myself begin to wake up. Justin Bieber!? That super talented Justin Bieber!? The one that everyone knows? "Roxy! No way! Justin Bieber!?" She laughed at my enthusiasm. "Yes, Jordan, Justin Bieber! Do you realize how huge this is for you to be working with him?" I stared at her dumb-foundedly. "No." I spoke sarcastically. "Shush Jordan and go home and get some sleep. We start working on the song in a few days." I eagerly rushed to my car and down the flight of steps of the entryway of Island Def Music Studios. I was going to work with Justin Bieber. The Justin Bieber. - [Justin's POV] I stepped into the quaint café in old historic Winnipeg. It was a small brick building that had been renovated over the past few years. There was long, glass bar at the back where you ordered and the walls were covered in a cheerful pattern of yellow daisies. The tiny chandeliers that hung low from the ceiling swung back and forth and the rattling of the air conditioner in the back, creates an older feel. Some paint was chipping and the tables were stained. I spotted Scooter in the back, talking quietly on his phone. I shoveled through a few table of the empty café and sat in the lonesome chair in front of Scooter. "Yeah...Okay...Thanks Roxanne...I'll call you later, bye." He hung up his phone and shoved it back into the pocket of his shorts. "Scooter, it's good to see you man, but I'm tired. What do you need?" I almost whispered. "Justin, you know who Jordan Mars is, correct? The actress and singer? Well, her manager and I have been talking and we decided that you two are going to do a collaboration on a song." I could feel my heart lift. Jordan Mars? I've never told anyone, but Jordan Mars is one of my biggest Hollywood crushes. I had always wondered what it would be like to be filled up with her bubbly personality. "That's awesome Scoot! When are we going to start working?" "You fly back to Atlanta tomorrow for a private concert and then, straight from the show, we're flying you out to Hollywood." "Okay, sounds great." I began to stand up. My chair screeched against the ground and created a rumbling in the silent café. "Oh Justin, there's another thing." "Yeah?" A sly smile slid across the contours of his face. "You're going to be in Hollywood for a month. On break. working on music. I already talked to your dad. Everything is set. We leave after ATL." I stood in shock and smiled. Hollywood! I hadn't been in a few months and its one of my favorite places to chill. "Awesome Scooter! I'm siked and all, but I really need to get home before I fall asleep in the car." "Aight, by JB." "Bye man." I walked nonchalantly out of the café, pleased that it was late enough that my tired body wouldn't get trampled by rancid fans. I love them but at this point, they're a little too much. ========== RARE OCCURENCE! Two chapters in one night sweetie pie(:
