Andy Summers (The Police) - The Guitar Show

Andy Summers on The Guitar Show (Episode 10), broadcast in 2002 on ABC TV Australia. In this clip Andy talks about his early days of gigging at a jazz club in his hometown, and other musical experiences before he joined the Police in 1977. He also discusses the musical frustration he felt towards the end of the Police, and his lifelong love of jazz and playing the guitar. The live performance sequences are from The Basement in Sydney, during his June 2001 tour with the Andy Summers Trio.
