Zaine also cooperated with The Kinks, The Human Instinct, Kate Bush, Warren Cann of Ultravox ánd Yukihiro Takahashi of YMO (on his album FIGVRES). During recording his first solo-album ASHES AND DIAMONDS, produced by Tony Visconti, DAVID BOWIE was around in the London Studio and Zaine and his band recorded with David Bowie three remakes of his songs Space Oddity (1979), Panic In Detroit (1979) ánd Rebel Rebel.
