WASHINGTON VIA KINGSTON was an early 1990s Australian reggae / rock steady / ska band) led by the legendary STRANGE TENANTS' ('The Godfathers of Australian Ska') Ian Hearn. This audio captured WVK live at the Sydenham Hotel (Richmond, Melbourne, Australia) in 1993 - covering Peter Tosh's 1970 Jamaica rock steady hit 'STOP THAT TRAIN.' This version features Ian Hearn on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Jeff Denny on drums, John Holmes on lead guitar and backing vocals, and Robert Calvert on saxophone et al.
