Upload #656 ~ HQ from UK 45 pictured ~~ This appeared on a rare UK 1966 Stateside LP** with Big Dee Irwin 'You Satisfy My Needs'. This written by Big Dee Irwin & in the same sort of Northern-Deep Soul dreamy mode. Very classy Soul Ballad lost on the B side of "Everybody's Somebody's Fool" which is a very different version of the Connie Francis hit, but nothing much, doesn't get your soul like 'Belong' does. UK & USA labels show "I Belong To You" if he sings "I'LL..". No sales on the dreary A side so a tough one. Aren't they all.... His first UK 45 after a 3.5 year break & they put that weak "Fool" as the A side? ~~~ Probably the same 1965 session as "A Little Bit Of Sunshine" ~~~ ** The UK LP was "An Album Full Of Soul" all USA Amy Mala Bell cuts & some good tracks here.... http://www.45worlds.com/vinyl/album/sl10172uk ... especially A3 & B2 tracks that were USA 45s only. Important LP we found mid 1990s
