U.S funk rock legends UGLY KID JOE rip into their 1992 hit Neighbor at KKs Steel Mill Wolverhampton on 11.11.22. Whitfield Crane waves to the crowd and makes his way back across stage towards Klaus. Suddenly the power trips out...... After a crowd groan, Whit decides we can actually rescue this and resumes the exact point acapella complete with crowd participation, stage crew LED torches and silent mimed guitar solos!! Hilarious stuff. Also underlines how great this band are. First off, a couple of key original members are being depped at the moment (Dave GTR and Cordell BASS) along with their usual drummer leaving only Whit and Klaus. These songs are not easy to sing night after night but he smashes it. The power was restored within a couple of songs and the tour ended well with ACDC, Kinks and Motorhead covers and plenty of hits. We dont deserve Whitfield Crane. He is truly one of rocks most criminally underated frontmen. If they rock up in ur town, get down the front early and have a rock masterclass.
