HOMENAJE A BUDDY HOLLY, RITCHIE VALENS Y BIG BOPPER en televisión - Viva el espectáculo - 1990-91
El 3 de Febrero de 1959 en Clear Lake, Iowa, fallecieron tres grandes del Rock'n' Roll en un desgraciado accidente de avión. Se trataba de Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens y Big Bopper. A aquel desafortunado día se le llamó "El día que murió la música". Desde entonces han sido numerosos los homenajes, imitaciones, recreaciones, etc. dedicados a su recuerdo y memoria. El vídeo ofrece uno de ellos que se emitió en Televisión española entre 1990 y 1991 dentro del espacio "Viva el espectáculo" presentado por Concha Velasco. ¡Larga vida al Rock and Roll! ¡¡Long Live Rock 'n' Roll !!

He was born to a musical family in Lubbock, Texas, during the Great Depression, and learned to play guitar and sing alongside his two siblings.
