In this edition of A Conversation In Jazz we talk to Philadelphia drummer, songwriter, and producer and Mr. Eddie Holman III. I've know Eddie since our days attending the Creative & Performing Arts (CAPA) High School in Philadelphia. Eddie is a walking encyclopedia on many of the historical facets of the music industry and a world-class musician. In Part 1 of our 2 Part interview, we discuss his history growing up in Philadelphia, being the son of a famous musician (Eddie Holman II, known for the hit song "Hey There Lonely Girl"), his years at CAPA and Berkley College of Music, many of his musical associations, experiences and more. He is a drummer, songwriter and producer from the city Philadelphia. He is also the son of the legendary singer/songwriter Eddie Holman, known for the hit song, "Hey There Lonely Girl."
