Enjoy this heartfelt and emotional performance of the beloved holiday song, “Celebrate Me Home” by the great Kenny Loggins, Grammy-Award-winning singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Performed at the Historic The Church Studio in Tulsa, Oklahoma; Kenny delighted the audience with a wonderful setlist of some of his biggest hits including the first-ever acoustic performance of “Danger Zone.” Other songs in the setlist included “The Real Thing,” “I’m Alright," and (of course) this beautiful version of "Celebrate Me Home," features Grady Nichols as a special guest on the saxophone. The song is part of The Church Studio Legacy Concert Series. "Celebrate Me Home" was written by Bob James and Kenny Loggins, and published in 1977 on Kenny's album of the same name. From Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Loggins and Messina launched to an exceptional solo career that brought “Meet Me Half Way,” “This Is It,” “I’m Alright,” “Forever,” “Whenever I Call You Friend, “Danny’s Song,” and so many more! Kenny has also been crowned, “King of the Movie Soundtrack” with his hits in Academy Award-nominated movie soundtrack successes such as A Star is Born, Caddyshack, Footloose, and Top Gun. Kenny’s extraordinary 4-decade career has brought joy to millions of people worldwide and it was an honor hosting him in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the historic The Church Studio for the Legacy Concert Series. Uneasy highway, Traveling where the Westerly winds can fly, Somebody tried to tell me, But the men forgot to tell me why, I gotta count on being gone, Come on woman, come on daddy, Be what you want from me, I'm this strong, I'll be weak Please, celebrate me home, Give me a number, Please, celebrate me home Play me one more song, That I'll always remember, I can recall, Whenever I find myself too all alone, I can make believe I've never gone, I never know where I belong, Sing me home. Please, celebrate me home, Give me a number, Please, celebrate me home Play me one more song, Celebrate, celebrate Celebrate, celebrate Celebrate, celebrate Celebrate me home Please, celebrate me home, Please, celebrate me home, Well I'm finally here, But I'm bound to roam, Come on celebrate me home Well I'm finally here, But I'm bound to roam, Come on celebrate me home Well I'm finally here, But I'm bound to roam, Come on celebrate me home Please, celebrate me home, Please, celebrate me home, Please, celebrate me home, Please, celebrate me home, Please, celebrate me home, Please, celebrate me home.
