This was the seemingly modest but hypnotic pop song that conquered the world in 1974. It was written and produced by Harry Wayne Casey & Rick Finch aka KC & The Sunshine Band, who would have their own worldwide success starting a year later. It went to #1 in 14 countries and Top Ten in several others. The song also went on to influence others like ABBA's "Dancing Queen" as the song was played in the studio so that the musicians could get the tempo and feel as a guide for that 1977 classic.
