Their current line-up includes lead vocalist Steve Souza, bassist Jack Gibson, drummer Tom Hunting, and guitarists Gary Holt and Lee Altus. The fact that guitarist Kirk Hammett was a part of Exodus' original lineup is also noteworthy. He eventually quit the group in 1983 to join Metallica as Dave Mustaine's replacement. The sole member to feature on all of Exodus' recordings is Gary Holt, who took over for original guitarist Tim Agnello in 1981. Gary Holt has been the band's most dependable member despite many lineup changes and breakups.
