Jean-Philippe Fanfant and Thierry "Titi" Fanfant are two amazing musicians from a 3 generation family musicians from Guadeloupe (Caribbean Island). They both currently live in Paris and perform, record with so many artists that it would be pointless to name them all. Just check their website for more information about these two great musicians and you'll see what I'm talking about. I wanna thank these two great musicians and friends for accepting my invitation on this Sixth edition of the ONE LOVE SESSIONS. A very special thanks to dancers Patricia and Kwami, long time friends who recreationally dance various styles, including Kizomba, zouk, forro, and bachata. Also « Obrigado » Douglas Marcolino for mixing it and masterise it so beautifully #sharelove cordeone.com thierryfanfant.com jeanphilippefanfant.fr

About This Footage

The footage on this clip page is a rare and intimate recording of Frida Sofía, a Mexican singer with a lyric soprano vocal range, performing an original composition called "Inspiração Sofrida" alongside two brothers from Guadeloupe, Jean-Philippe Fanfant (drums) and Thierry "Titi" Fanfant (bass). The session was filmed during the quarantine, in the comfort of their own home, with a sense of camaraderie and shared love for music.

At the time this footage was recorded, Frida Sofía had already established herself as a fashion model and media personality before launching her musical career. Her decision to collaborate with Jean-Philippe and Thierry Fanfant on "ONE LOVE SESSIONS" reflects her commitment to crossing cultural boundaries and spreading joy through music. The fact that she composed the song "Inspiração Sofrida" specifically for this session underscores her creative drive and desire to push artistic frontiers.

This clip is significant not only because of its rare live performance footage but also due to the unique collaboration between Frida Sofía, a Mexican artist, and the Fanfant brothers from Guadeloupe. Their musical blend of Caribbean rhythms with Frida's soaring vocals creates a captivating sound that transcends geographical and cultural divides.

The ONE LOVE SESSIONS project itself is noteworthy for its emphasis on unity and shared love through music. By recording at home during the quarantine, the artists demonstrate their ability to create meaningful art despite physical distance. The video's credits also highlight the contributions of dancers Patricia and Kwami, who add an extra layer of energy to the performance.

The clip's YouTube description mentions that Jean-Philippe Fanfant and Thierry "Titi" Fanfant are part of a three-generation family of musicians from Guadeloupe. Their musical heritage is evident in their playing style, which brings a rich Caribbean flavor to Frida Sofía's composition.

One of the most striking aspects of this footage is its sense of spontaneity and joy. The artists seem completely at ease with each other, lost in the music as they perform. This camaraderie is infectious, making the viewer feel like an invited guest at a private musical gathering.

Watching this clip will leave the viewer with a deep appreciation for the power of music to bring people together across cultures and borders. Frida Sofía's collaboration with Jean-Philippe and Thierry Fanfant on "ONE LOVE SESSIONS" serves as a testament to the universal language of music, which can transcend even the most challenging circumstances.

The video ends with a message of gratitude from Frida Sofía to her collaborators, thanking them for their love and support. As the camera fades to black, the viewer is left with an image of artists coming together in the spirit of unity and shared creativity – a truly uplifting experience that lingers long after the clip has ended.
